On page 6, line 14, of the House engrossed bill, delete "from the general fund".
On page 6, line 15, delete everything after "necessary," and insert "in
other
fund expenditure
authority to the Board of Regents".
On page 6, line 16, delete "Education".
On page 6, line 17, after "." insert "The grant program authorized by this Act shall operate as
a pilot program during fiscal year 2010. Notwithstanding any provision of chapter 13-55A or 13-55B
to the contrary, the Board of Regents shall administer the program during its initial year.".
On page 6, line 22, after "The" delete "secretary of education" and insert "executive director of
the Board of Regents".
