    On page 2, line 3, of the printed bill, after "leave" insert ", or unless the meeting or activity is held for the purpose of training or professional development in the employee's role as an employee of the school district and not as a member of a collective bargaining unit".

    On page 2, after line 10, insert:

"    Section 2. That chapter 13-43 be amended by adding a NEW SECTION to read:

    The provisions of this Act apply to any collective bargaining agreement or other contract for employment entered into, amended, or renewed on or after July 1, 2018. Nothing in this Act may be construed to allow a school district to violate the terms of a collective bargaining agreement or employment contract in existence on July 1, 2018.".
