     On page 1, after line 8 of the Senate Education Committee engrossed bill, insert:

"
     Section 2. That chapter 13-13 be amended by adding thereto a NEW SECTION to read as follows:

    Any funds that a school district receives as a gift pursuant to § 13-14-5 and transfers to the general fund of the school district may not be considered a part of the general fund balance for purposes of this chapter.".
