___________________ moved that SB 157 be amended as follows:

     On page 1, line 6 of the printed bill, remove the overstrikes from " : " .

     On page 1 , line 7, remove the overstrikes from " (1) " .

     On page 2 , line 2, delete " Is is " and insert "Is".

     On page 2 , delete lines 9 to 12 , inclusive, and insert:

"

             (5) (2)     Provides that electric utilities, public utilities, telecommunication companies, and rural water systems have the right to the use of the railroad right-of-way for the placement of underground facilities, without fee, subject to reasonable regulation and negotiation in good faith as to location and placement. If the facilities are placed outside the public right-of-way but inside the railroad right-of-way, the railroad shall negotiate the amount of compensation in good faith. ".
