     On page 2 , after line 11 , insert:

    Section 2. That chapter 22-22 be amended by adding thereto a NEW SECTION to read as follows:

     Any parent of a victim of third degree rape, as defined in subdivision 22-22-1(7), who, having knowledge of the commission of the crime, does not immediately disclose the information to the proper authorities is guilty of misprision of felony within the provisions of § 22-11-12. "
