        FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to provide certain provisions that require the Governor to consult the Legislature before mobilizing the National Guard or law enforcement in certain circumstances.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
    Section 1. That chapter 34-48A be amended by adding a NEW SECTION to read:
    The Governor may not mobilize any National Guard forces or any law enforcement agency in the state pursuant to a mutual aid agreement between South Dakota and any other state without first consulting the Legislature.
