        A JOINT RESOLUTION, Proposing and submitting to the voters at the next general election an amendment to Article XXI of the Constitution of the State of South Dakota, relating to fishing, hunting, and trapping.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA, THE SENATE CONCURRING THEREIN:
    Section 1. That at the next general election held in the state, the following amendment to Article XXI of the Constitution of the State of South Dakota, as set forth in section 2 of this Joint Resolution, which is hereby agreed to, shall be submitted to the electors of the state for approval.
    Section 2. That Article XXI of the Constitution of the State of South Dakota, be amended by adding a NEW SECTION to read as follows:
    § 10. Hunting, fishing, and trapping wildlife is a valued part of our heritage that shall forever

be preserved for the people; water, wildlife, and other natural resources held in the public trust shall be managed by law and regulation for the public good but do not create a right to trespass on private property except as allowed by law, regulation, easement, or contract.
