        FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to provide an exception for alcohol manufacturer licensees to participate in certain charitable retail events.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
    Section 1. That chapter 35-2 be amended by adding a NEW SECTION to read:
    Notwithstanding the provisions of § 35-2-6.4, a manufacturer licensee may pour or serve alcoholic beverages at any event conducted by one of the following types of organizations licensed pursuant to § 35-4-124:
            (1)    A civic organization;
            (2)    A charitable organization;
            (3)    An educational organization;
            (4)    A fraternal organization; or
            (5)    A veterans organization.
