        FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to provide for the use of certain general funds to increase Medicaid reimbursement rates for existing Medicaid providers.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
    Section 1. That the code be amended by adding a NEW SECTION to read:
    After a portion of any state general fund savings obtained from additional federal funding for services received through an Indian Health Service or tribal facility and furnished to Medicaid-eligible American Indians is shared with the Indian Health Service and the other parties to coordinated care agreements, at least eighty percent of the remaining savings shall be used to increase the Medicaid reimbursement rates for existing Medicaid programs.
