The Filter option allows you to narrow your search results to a specific Title, Article, or Chapter . Here is a tip for using the filter option.
  • Use a colon (:) as the last character of your filter to refine searches. For example the filter "10:01" returns the article, chapters, and sections in 10:01.

Quick Find



Enter a Rule Number and click Get Rule to load the Rule. You can enter any Article, Chapter, or Section number. Examples(01:15, 01:15:01, 01:15:01:01, etc.). Use the Get All button to load and entire article or chapter.

          24:14:14:04.  Native language. Prior written notice must be given to the parents in written language understandable to the general public and provided in the native language of the parents, as defined in ยง 24:14:01:01(13), or other mode of communication used by the parents, unless it is clearly not feasible to do so. If the native language or other mode of communication of the parent is not a written language, the service coordinator shall take steps to ensure the following:

 

          (1)  Notice is translated orally or by other means to the parent in the parent's native language or other mode of communication;

          (2)  The parent understands the notice; and

          (3)  There is written evidence that the requirements of this section have been met.

 

          If a parent is deaf or blind or has no written language, then the mode of communication must be that normally used by the parent, including sign language, braille, or oral communication.
