         HB 1005*     revise the reporting requirements involving sex offense victims.
             Representative Cutler and Senator Abdallah

         HB 1123     provide for the termination of certain parental rights of persons convicted of rape or incest, to provide for restitution in lieu of child support in those cases, to restrict contact with the child, and to provide penalties for violations thereof.
             Representatives Hanks, Boomgarden, Dennert, Elliott, Howie, Kirkeby, McLaughlin, Noem, Novstrup (Al), and Van Etten and Senators Hansen (Tom), Bartling, Gant, Garnos, Gray, Greenfield, McCracken, and Schmidt

         HB 1218     require certain lessors of residential property to disclose that the lessor or any person employed at the residential property is a registered sex offender.

         HB 1252     provide certain provisions concerning the indemnification of the directors of rural electric cooperatives.
             Representatives Gillespie, Burg, Dykstra, Halverson, Hargens, Hunt, Juhnke, Peters, Street, Vanneman, and Willadsen and Senators Koetzle, Duenwald, Hansen (Tom), Hanson (Gary), McCracken, McNenny, Olson (Ed), and Peterson (Jim)

         HB 1253     provide for the establishment of a task force to study the enforcement and collection of financial obligations resulting from criminal proceedings and to declare an emergency.

         HB 1254     establish the elements of the crime of masturbating or ejaculating in the presence of a child and to provide a penalty therefor.

         HB 1289     prohibit the negligent kindling of certain fires, to impose financial liability for causing certain fires, and to provide penalties therefor.

         HB 1301     establish the rural victims' advocacy services grant program and to make an appropriation therefor.

         HB 1185     limit the liability of certain passenger or excursion train providers.

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.
