         FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to  provide for the removal of dead deer from certain highways.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
     Section 1.  If the Department of Transportation or the Department of Game, Fish and Parks receives a report of a dead deer along any highway on the state trunk highway system as provided by chapter 31-4, the Department of Transportation or the Department of Game, Fish and Parks, whichever department receives the report, shall provide that the dead deer is removed within forty-eight hours of the department receiving the report. The cost of the removal of the dead deer shall be paid from the state highway fund and the Department of Game, Fish and Parks fund. Sixty percent of the costs shall be paid from the state highway fund and forty percent of the costs shall be paid from the Department of Game, Fish and Parks fund.
