___________________ moved that SB 106 be amended as follows:
" Section 1. There is hereby created within the postsecondary technical institute facilities fund a
maintenance and repair subfund. On June thirtieth of each year the state treasurer shall transfer any
unobligated general funds appropriated through the annual general appropriations act for the
purposes of funding the ongoing operations of the public postsecondary technical institutions to the
postsecondary technical institute maintenance and repair subfund. Interest earned on money in the
subfund shall be credited to the subfund. Any money from gifts, grants, or other funds may be
deposited in the subfund. The money shall be continuously appropriated and dispersed to the
technical institutes proportionate to the replacement value of the buildings on their respective
campuses."
