___________________ moved that SB 154 be amended as follows:

     On page 1, line 8 of the printed bill, after " four " insert " and nine tenths ".

     On page 2 , after line 12, insert:

"

     Section 3. There is hereby appropriated from the state general fund the sum of eight hundred fifty thousand ($850,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, to the Department of Social Services to provide funding for social workers in public schools.

     Section 4. The secretary of the Department of Social Services shall approve vouchers and the state auditor shall draw warrants to pay expenditures authorized by this Act.
    

     Section 5. Any amounts appropriated in this Act not lawfully expended or obligated by June 30, 2007, shall revert in accordance with § 4-8-21.".
