        FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to allow a state-mandated academic achievement test taken by a student to be returned to the student under certain circumstances.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
    Section 1. That chapter 13-3 be amended by adding thereto a NEW SECTION to read as follows:
    Any student who takes an academic achievement test required to be administered in every public school district in the state pursuant to ยง 13-3-55 may, upon request, have the student's test scored and returned, in its entirety, to the student in a timely and efficient manner. In addition, the parent or guardian of a student required to take an academic achievement test or the student's teacher may also request that the student's test be scored and returned.
