74:55:01:39.  Monitoring subsidence. Subsidence shall be controlled to the extent that the values and uses of the surface land resources and aquifers will not be degraded. If the injection wells penetrate an aquifer in an area subject to subsidence or catastrophic collapse, an adequate number of monitor wells shall be completed into that aquifer to detect any movement of injected fluids.

          The monitor wells shall be located outside the physical influence of the subsidence or collapse.
