20:01:07:03. Tolerances for standards.Repealed.

20:01:07:04. Rejection of testing standards. Testing standards submitted for certification which are determined unadjustable and uncertifiable shall be rejected after testing by the state metrologist and after notice to the owner and the director of legal and regulatory services.

20:01:07:05 Approval date required on measuring devices. All weights, weight sets, measures, or devices used by a service agent as weighing or measuring devices shall show their approval date and the jurisdiction issuing approval.

20:01:07:06. Order of testing. All weights, measures, or devices shall be tested in the order they are received in the laboratory unless arrangements for testing have been made in advance.

20:01:07:07. State not liable for damages to equipment. If equipment or standards are damaged in any way, the state of South Dakota and the department of public safety are not to be held responsible for the cost of repair or replacement.

20:01:07:08. Devices to be cleaned before submission for testing. All weights, weight sets, measures, or devices shall be cleaned and ready to be calibrated before being submitted for testing to the state metrology laboratory.

20:01:07:09. Payment for testing. Payment for testing is required upon completion, before releasing standards work. Checks shall be made payable to the department of public safety.
