FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to
authorize certain vehicles in the possession of a dealer's
car auction agency to be moved with a permit.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That chapter 32-6B be amended by adding thereto a NEW SECTION to read as follows:

Section 1. That chapter 32-6B be amended by adding thereto a NEW SECTION to read as follows:
Any vehicle that is in the possession of a dealer's car auction agency and that will be offered
for sale may be driven upon the streets and highways of this state within a twenty mile radius of
the car auction agency for travel to and from a service facility, such as a repair, body, or detail
shop, if displaying an in-transit auction permit. The department shall prescribe the form for the
in-transit auction permit.
