A LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATION, Honoring Specialist Cooper Mueller of the South Dakota Army National Guard for receiving the Van Autreve Award from the United States Army Engineer Association.

WHEREAS, the United States Army Engineer Association recognized Specialist Cooper Mueller as a superior junior-enlisted soldier in both the Army National Guard and Army Reserves; and

WHEREAS, Specialist Mueller was selected for the Van Autreve Award based on leadership recommendations for his outstanding performance as a soldier and his skills as a bridge crewmember:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT COMMEMORATED, by the Ninety-Sixth Legislature of the State of South Dakota, that the Legislature honors and congratulates Specialist Cooper Mueller of the South Dakota Army National Guard for being named the 2020 recipient of the Van Autreve Award. Specialist Mueller is further recognized for his outstanding service to South Dakota and the United States.
