A LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATION, Honoring the Canton C-Hawks boys wrestling team.

WHEREAS, the Canton C-Hawks boys wrestling team has a longstanding history of excellence; and

WHEREAS, the C-Hawks qualified as the second seed in the state Class B dual team tournament, held on February 10, 2024 in Watertown; and

WHEREAS, the C-Hawks won their second consecutive state Class B dual team championship by defeating Miller/Highmore-Harrold 60-12 and Bon Homme/Avon 54-14 to reach the championship dual, where they defeated Philip/Kadoka Area/Wall by a decisive score of 45-16:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT COMMEMORATED, by the Ninety-Ninth Legislature of the State of South Dakota, that the Legislature honors the Canton C-Hawks boys wrestling team for their outstanding performance in earning the state Class B dual team championship.
