An Act to allow a dealer in motor homes or recreational park trailers to construct and operate campsites at a dealership location.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of South Dakota:

Section 1. That a NEW SECTION be added to chapter 34-18:

A licensed vehicle dealer or trailer dealer as provided for in chapter 32-6B, who sells motor homes as defined in § 32-6B-1.1 or recreational park trailers as defined in § 32-6B-1.2, may construct and operate campsites at the dealership, for the convenience and use of customers awaiting repairs or maintenance service. Campsites constructed and operated in accordance with this section are not subject to licensure or inspection requirements, as set forth in this chapter.
