An Act to provide for noncustodial visitation of a minor born out of wedlock.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of South Dakota:

Section 1. That a NEW SECTION be added to chapter 25-5:

Upon the establishment of paternity pursuant to § 25-8-50, the father of an unmarried minor born out of wedlock is entitled to minimum noncustodial parenting time, as set forth in chapter 25-4A, unless visitation would result in serious detriment to the minor.
