An Act to limit the amount of money that may be transferred to a candidate campaign committee, a political action committee, or a political party by the authorized committee of a candidate for federal office.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of South Dakota:

Section 1. That a NEW SECTION be added to chapter 12-27:

A candidate with an authorized committee, as defined in 52 U.S.C. § 30101, et seq. (January 1, 2025), may not transfer more than ten thousand dollars per year, to any candidate campaign committee, political action committee, or political party organized pursuant to this chapter.
