A civil action may be filed in either state or federal court without regard to the amount in controversy. The party bringing the action has </span><span class="s84e1889b-19b4-4c5c-9d88-2477d0209d18C0">thirty</span><span xml:space="preserve" class="s84e1889b-19b4-4c5c-9d88-2477d0209d18C0"> days from the date of a hearing officer's decision to file a civil action.
