<html> <head> <title>Rule 67:10:01:16.01 Hardship criteria for assistance unit ineligible after 60 months.</title> <META NAME="Keywords" Content="Administrative Rules 67:10:01:16.01"> <META NAME="Description" Content="Administrative Rules 67:10:01:16.01 Hardship criteria for assistance unit ineligible after 60 months."> <meta name=Generator content="Microsoft Office HTML Filter 2.0"> <meta http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=windows-1252"> <meta name=Originator content="Microsoft Word 10"> <style> <!-- --> </style> </head> <body lang=EN-US> <div> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <b>67:10:01:16.01.&nbsp;&nbsp;Hardship criteria for assistance unit ineligible after 60 months.</b> An assistance unit that is ineligible for assistance because of the limits established in §&nbsp;67:10:01:16 may continue to receive cash assistance if one of the following conditions is met:</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; (1)&nbsp;&nbsp;The physical or mental condition of the parent is expected to last longer than 30 days and prevents the parent from entering the work force;</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; (2)&nbsp;&nbsp;The physical or mental condition of a spouse or child residing in the home is expected to last longer than 30 days and prevents the parent from entering the work force;</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; (3)&nbsp;&nbsp;The low intellectual function of the parent prevents the parent from entering the work force or significantly limits earning ability; or</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; (4)&nbsp;&nbsp;The assistance unit has a family safety issue that prevents the parent from entering the work force.
