A conference may be held by way of a telephone conference or in person. The recipient must request the conference during the 10-day advance written notice period or within 10 days after the date of the action. </p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; An applicant who has received written notice of a decision relating to an application may request a conference. The applicant must request the conference within 10 days after the written notice is mailed.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Within five days after receiving the request, the department shall arrange for a conference with the applicant or recipient.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; At the end of the conference, the department shall inform the applicant or recipient of the department's final decision.
