<html> <head> <title>Rule 12:68:09:11 Requirements for offal depositories.</title> <META NAME="Keywords" Content="Administrative Rules 12:68:09:11"> <META NAME="Description" Content="Administrative Rules 12:68:09:11 Requirements for offal depositories."> <meta name=Generator content="Microsoft Office HTML Filter 2.0"> <meta http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=windows-1252"> <meta name=Originator content="Microsoft Word 10"> <style> <!-- --> </style> </head> <body lang=EN-US> <div> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <b>12:68:09:11.&nbsp;&nbsp;Requirements for offal depositories.</b> The requirements for offal depositories are as follows:</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; (1)&nbsp;&nbsp;Stomach and intestinal contents from carcasses to be rendered, if not cooked with the carcass or washed into disposal facilities with other liquid waste, must be deposited in a pit or depository provided for that purpose and must be allowed to remain in the pit or depository for at least three months. At the end of three months, the offal must be buried or removed and spread on fields to which no domestic animals have access.
