Open ditch installations are not permitted within the right-of-way;</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; (2)&nbsp;&nbsp;Permanent installation crossings of the right-of-way shall be made with buried box culverts or pipelines. All joints must contain a seal to prevent leaking. The minimum depth of cover over the installation is three feet;</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; (3)&nbsp;&nbsp;Temporary irrigation facilities, those remaining in place only for the duration of the irrigation season, may be placed on the ground surface when they are beyond the clear zone. When they are within the clear zone they must be dug in so that no more than four inches of pipe extends above the ground;</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; (4)&nbsp;&nbsp;Crossings of paved surfaces shall be made by boring or jacking. Boring or jacking must be continuous from toe of inslope to toe of inslope or back of curb to back of curb. Crossings of gravel or unpaved surfaces may be made by open trench.
