The type of test used and the results must be shown on the certificate of veterinary inspection. Upon arrival at the farm, all breeding swine must be isolated separately for 30 days from any other animals. All boars must be retested no sooner than 21 days or more than 45 days after arrival to assure that the boars are still negative. A monitored percentage of all breeding females must be retested no sooner than 21 days or more than 45 days after arrival to assure that the animals are still negative.
