If a written examination is used, all eligible applicants except certified law enforcement officers must take the examination.</p> <p class=MsoNormal>&nbsp;</p> <p class=MsoNormal>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; (5)&nbsp;&nbsp;The appointing authority may then extend a conditional offer of employment to any applicant on the requisition list meeting the foregoing requirements.
