<html> <head> <title>Rule 20:44:24:03 Additional requirements for temporary installations for carnivals and celebrations.</title> <META NAME="Keywords" Content="Administrative Rules 20:44:24:03"> <META NAME="Description" Content="Administrative Rules 20:44:24:03 Additional requirements for temporary installations for carnivals and celebrations."> <meta name=Generator content="Microsoft Office HTML Filter 2.0"> <meta http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=windows-1252"> <meta name=Originator content="Microsoft Word 10"> <style> <!-- --> </style> </head> <body lang=EN-US> <div> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <b>20:44:24:03.&nbsp;&nbsp;Additional requirements for temporary installations for carnivals and celebrations.</b> In addition to the requirements of §&nbsp;20:44:24:02, temporary installations for carnivals and celebrations must conform to the following:</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; (1)&nbsp;&nbsp;Each ride or concession must be provided with only one disconnect switch with overcurrent protection;</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; (2)&nbsp;&nbsp;Splices and taps must be enclosed in a weatherproof box or cabinet and may not be accessible to the public. Splices or taps may not be buried in the ground;</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; (3)&nbsp;&nbsp;Cable must be in good condition, have standard insulating qualities for the voltage level, have adequate mechanical strength, and be a continuous length from box to box.
