         HJR 1001     Proposing and submitting to the electors at the next general election amendments to Article XI of the Constitution of the State of South Dakota to prohibit the taxation of income except on banks or financial corporations.
             Representatives McCaulley, Hennies (Don), Koistinen, Madsen, McCoy, Monroe, Napoli, Slaughter, and Wick and Senator Staggers

         HJR 1005     Proposing and submitting to the electors at the next general election an amendment to Article XI of the Constitution of the State of South Dakota to prohibit the taxation of realty improvement contracts.
             Representatives Lange, Bradford, Burg, Davis, Elliott, Hanson (Gary), Hargens, Hundstad, Kloucek, Nachtigal, Peterson (Jim), Sigdestad, and Valandra and Senators Hutmacher, Dennert, Duxbury, Hagen, Koetzle, McIntyre, Reedy, and Staggers

         HJR 1006     Proposing and submitting to the electors at the next general election a new section to Article XI of the Constitution of the State of South Dakota, relating to the imposition of a corporate income tax.
             Representatives Kooistra, Begalka, and Lange and Senator McIntyre

         HB 1201     impose an income tax on interest and dividends and to provide penalties for the violation thereof.
             Representatives Lange, Bradford, Hanson (Gary), Hundstad, Kloucek, and Valandra and Senators McIntyre and Reedy

NOTE: The above bills will be taken up in this order for a hearing on the date noted. If circumstances do not permit a hearing on this date then a hearing will be held at a future meeting of the committee to be determined by the chair. Action on a bill may come at any time after it has had a hearing.

BILLS FOR POSSIBLE ACTION WHICH HAVE HAD PRIOR HEARING.

         HB 1229     revise the procedure for assessing agricultural property and to repeal the nonagricultural acreage classification.
             Representatives Lintz, Duenwald, Fryslie, Hansen (Tom), Jensen, Klaudt, Pederson (Gordon), Rhoden, and Sigdestad and Senators Diedrich (Larry), Dennert, Drake, Koskan, and Vitter

         HB 1247     require payment of certain property taxes if agricultural land is changed to another classification of property.
             Representatives Rhoden, Jensen, Lintz, and Pederson (Gordon) and Senator Vitter

         HB 1097     establish certain classifications of property and to revise the tax levy for the general fund purposes of a school district.
             Representatives Lintz, Duniphan, Hanson (Gary), Jensen, Napoli, Pederson (Gordon), Rhoden, and Sigdestad and Senators Vitter and Koskan
