41:06:09:01. Grouse hunting season established. The grouse hunting season is open statewide, from sunrise to sunset, each day from the third Saturday of September through January thirty-first. For purposes of this chapter, the term "grouse" means sharptail grouse, ruffed grouse, and prairie chicken.
