ENTITLED A LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATION, Recognizing and honoring the Veterans Honor Park in Madison, South Dakota.
WHEREAS, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2638 and the McKibbin-Mosher American Legion Post 25 have undertaken efforts to establish a new Veterans Honor Park in Madison, South Dakota; and
WHEREAS, the park will serve as a timeless location to honor veterans and their families for their service to our country; and
WHEREAS, the Veterans Honor Park will be a location for reflection and gratitude and the location will serve as a flag retirement ceremony area for the community of Madison:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT COMMEMORATED, by the Ninety-Fifth Legislature of the State of South Dakota, that the Legislature recognizes and honors the importance of the Veterans Honor Park in Madison, South Dakota, and applauds those who have undertaken efforts to establish the park.
