FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act
to exempt certain information submitted to the Department
of Agriculture from public disclosure requirements.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That chapter 38-6 be amended by adding thereto a NEW SECTION to read as follows:

Data or financial information made or received by the secretary of agriculture for the
purpose of application for loans, marketing assistance, agricultural finance counseling, and farm
loan mediation are not public records and are exempt from the provisions of
§
1-27-1.
