FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act
to authorize the Board of Regents to purchase a tract of
land in Vermillion, Clay County, and to make an appropriation.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. The South Dakota Board of Regents may purchase for the use and benefit of the University of South Dakota a tract of land in Clay County known as the old Vermillion golf course and described as E ½ of SE ¼ Section 12, Township 92, Range 52W of the Fifth Prime Meridian, except W 732' of the N 1475' thereof, Clay County, South Dakota, for the price of two hundred eighteen thousand dollars ($218,000) to be paid from other funds available to the University of South Dakota, which are hereby appropriated to the Board of Regents for such purpose.
