FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act
to authorize sheriffs to collect fees for expenses incurred
in executing court orders.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That subdivision (24) of § 7-12-18 be amended to read as follows:

If personal property is taken by the sheriff on execution or warrant of attachment and
applied in the satisfaction of the debt without sale, the same percentage on the
appraised value of the property as in the case of a sale
and any actual costs incurred
in executing the duties of sheriff under this chapter
.
