FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act
to provide for a temporary permit to practice as an athletic
trainer.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That chapter 36-29 be amended by adding thereto a NEW SECTION to read as follows:

Section 1. That chapter 36-29 be amended by adding thereto a NEW SECTION to read as follows:
The board may grant a temporary permit to any applicant who has completed the education
requirements of this chapter. The temporary permit confers all of the privileges of a license to
practice as an athletic trainer. The temporary permit is valid for one hundred eighty days.
