FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to
permit certain municipal officials to serve in volunteer,
unsalaried municipal positions.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That chapter 9-14 be amended by adding thereto a NEW SECTION to read as follows:

The provisions of
§
9-14-16 do not prohibit any mayor, alderman, commissioner, or trustee
from serving in any other volunteer, unsalaried municipal position.
