FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to
revise certain administrative rules relating to
telecommunications services.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That ARSD 20:10:32:07 be amended to read as follows:
20:10:32:07. In addition to the requirements imposed by this chapter on providers of local exchange services, the commission, in granting a certificate of authority to provide local exchange services, may impose additional terms and conditions, on a competitively neutral basis, that it finds necessary to preserve and advance universal service, protect the public safety and welfare, ensure the continued quality of service, and safeguard the rights of consumers. The preservation and advancement of universal service shall be a primary concern.
