FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to
prohibit the assessment of a technology fee in the sale
of certain seed and to provide a penalty therefor.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That chapter 38-12A be amended by adding thereto a NEW SECTION to read as follows:

No person who sells or offers for sale any seed corn or soybeans may charge a technology
fee. A violation of this section is a Class 6 felony.
