FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to
require a vote before regional cooperatives can engage
in certain activities.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. A regional cooperative shall receive an affirmative vote of not less than two-thirds of its patrons before a cooperative can feed, raise, or breed livestock or engage in any activity that would be recognized as direct competition with the cooperative's patrons.
