FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to
clarify the definition of the term, member, with regard
to certain definition of corporation provisions.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That subdivision (7) of § 47-22-1 be amended to read as follows:

"Member" means one having membership rights in a corporation in accordance with
the provisions of its articles of incorporation or bylaws
