FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to
provide for the recovery of reasonable attorney's fees and
costs in actions for deceit.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That § 20-10-1 be amended to read as follows:
20-10-1.
One
Any person
who willfully deceives another, with intent to induce
him
the other
to alter
his

position to his
or her
injury or risk, is liable for any
damage which he
thereby suffers
damages suffered by the other, including reasonable attorney's fees and costs
.
