FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to
prohibit hunting on certain railroad rights-of-way.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That chapter 41-9 be amended by adding thereto a NEW SECTION to read as follows:

No person may hunt on any railroad right-of-way that is owned or leased by the state or by
any private railroad. A violation of this section is a Class 2 misdemeanor.
