FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to
prohibit certain campaign contributions.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That chapter 12-25 be amended by adding thereto a NEW SECTION to read as follows:

No person who is employed by the State of South Dakota may contribute any money or give
any item of value to any political committee or to any candidate for statewide constitutional
office.
