FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to
revise the vote required to authorize a school district
bond.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That § 13-19-9 be amended to read as follows:
13-19-9. All school district bonds shall be authorized, issued, and sold as provided in chapter 6-8B
, except that
if a majority of all registered voters voting at the bond election authorize the
bond issue. However,
no election
shall be held
is required
to issue bonds to fund registered
warrants.
