FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to
allow a health-related professional corporation to employ
certain health-related licensees without having a shareholder licensed in the same profession.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That § 47-11F-3 be amended to read as follows:
47-11F-3. One or more authorized licensees may form a professional corporation for the purpose of rendering two or more kinds of professional services and services ancillary thereto. A professional corporation may
not
employ a person who is an authorized licensee
unless at least
one
even if no
shareholder of the professional corporation is an authorized licensee of the same
profession.
