FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to
establish certain wage requirements for the recipients of
REDI fund loans.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That chapter 1-16G be amended by adding thereto a NEW SECTION to read as follows:

Section 1. That chapter 1-16G be amended by adding thereto a NEW SECTION to read as follows:
No person may receive a loan from the revolving economic development and initiative fund
unless the person agrees, as a condition to receiving the loan, to pay to nonmanagement
employees a wage which averages at least one hundred ten percent of the average hourly wage
for that occupational title and employment region as compiled by the occupational employment
statistics program of the Department of Labor.
