FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to
provide for a study of legislative article of the South
Dakota Constitution.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. The Executive Board of the Legislative Research Council shall appoint an interim legislative committee to study Article III of the South Dakota Constitution. The committee shall make recommendations to the 2003 Legislature regarding the length of legislative sessions, legislator term limits, the legislative redistricting process, legislator conflicts of interest, and the powers and duties of the Legislature.
